The Arc Mine is an Ordnance for Pilots appearing in Titanfall.
Summary[ | ]
The Arc Mine is a proximity detonated charge that sticks to any surface. In addition to nominal explosive damage, it causes massive interference to nearby Titan and Pilot vision systems when it detonates.
Ammunition[ | ]
Each Arc Mine is a single use item.
Strategy[ | ]
Arc Mines are effective Anti-Titan measures, and can best be used in tight corners or choke points in a city, forcing the Titans into a funnel of death. Additionally, the mines can be placed on your Titan before piloting it, making for an effective trap against the foolish Pilot who chooses to rodeo you. This can be a hindrance, however, as the damage dealt could potentially put down your Titan faster than the rodeo damage if combated on foot.
Real-Life Counterpart[ | ]
The Arc Mine bares many similarities to the real world EMP.
